Best Time to Visit

The best time to visit Rajasthan is from October to March, when the weather is cooler and more comfortable for sightseeing. Winter (November to February) offers pleasant temperatures, ideal for exploring the desert, forts, and palaces. Rajasthan’s festivals like Diwali, Desert Festival in Jaisalmer, and Pushkar Camel Fair occur during this period, enhancing the travel experience. Summer (March to June) can be extremely hot, especially in desert areas like Jaisalmer and Jodhpur. Monsoon (July to September) offers lush landscapes but brings humidity and occasional rains, making it less ideal for outdoor activities.
