Best Time to Visit
The best time to visit Kenya is during the dry season, from late June to October, which coincides with the Great Migration in the Maasai Mara. This period offers excellent wildlife viewing opportunities, especially for safaris, as animals gather around water sources. January to February is also a good time for safaris, with fewer crowds and pleasant weather. The rainy season (April to May) can make travel more challenging due to heavy rains, but it’s also a time when the landscapes are lush and green, ideal for birdwatching. November to December offers a shoulder season with lower prices and a mix of good weather and wildlife experiences.
