Best Time to Visit

The best time to visit Laos is during the cool and dry season, from November to February. This period offers pleasant temperatures, ranging from 18°C to 25°C (64°F to 77°F), ideal for outdoor activities like trekking and exploring temples. The rainy season (May to October) brings lush landscapes but also heavy downpours, making travel more challenging. March to April can be hot, especially in the lowlands, but it’s still a good time for sightseeing if you can handle the heat. For the most comfortable experience, visit between November and February.
